Base Camp

Is it time for your students to take the next step after hard top camps? Base camps are the perfect
progression. Bindaree can operate base camp style programs all over Victoria, from the Grampians
Gariwerd National Park to Lake Eildon National Park to the Great Ocean Road. Creating the classic
camp memories by sleeping in tents and providing opportunities to foster independence through
group Trangia cooking, base camp programs allow students to fully immerse themselves in their
natural surroundings.

The option to base the program at Caravan Parks or National Parks with added comfort facilities.
Staying in one location means camp becomes home for the week, giving students and teachers security and helping them feel comfortable.
Base camping allows students and teachers more time to get to know their surroundings in detail, seeing the landscape from different perspectives through their daily activities.
Base camp programs have the flexibility to provide more opportunities for down time and reflection, helping to enhance group connections and learning outcomes.
