At Camp Toolangi we offer exclusive use of our venue which means you are not sharing the camp with other groups, and you can set up your retreat your way. Located only 90 minutes from the Melbourne CBD we are right on the doorstep to the Yarra Valley, a quick easy drive for guests making us accessible for a night, weekend or even longer. Our bush setting surrounded by the Toolangi State Forest makes the perfect location for your guests to immerse themselves in nature and feel worlds away. We offer both catered and self-catered options to meet your groups individual needs.

Accommodation

Our purpose-built school camp can accommodate up to 147 people. Students are accommodated in rooms sleeping between 5 – 7people. All accommodation is centrally located in the campgrounds.

‍Greygum and Blackwood Lodges

Each lodge sleeps up to 34 people in 7 rooms.
Both lodges are fully heated and air conditioned.
All rooms carpeted.
Two separate bathrooms – shower and toilet facilities
Leader room with ensuite bathroom in each lodge.

Olympic Village

8 individual units
Each unit has 2 rooms and sleeps 5 people.
All units have their own bathroom with toilet and shower facilities.
All units are fully heated.

Activities

Your group can choose to include camp activities to complement your retreat program or use them to entertain your younger guests. We have over 20 activities to choose from which can be booked for half or full days. Our friendly and experienced staff can help you to design an activity program for your stay which best meets your needs.

Catering

To meet our groups needs we offer both catered and self-catered camp options.

Catered

Let us know which meals you would like to include, and our experienced kitchen team will take care of your catering.

Our team will design your menu using fresh and local produce wherever possible.
‍
We can cater for your guests' dietary requirements with care.
Camp staff will serve all meals and wash your dishes giving your group more time to enjoy your
retreat experience.

‍Self-Catered

If your group prefer to self-cater, we offer this option:

Your group will have access to our commercial kitchen including ovens, dishwasher, bain-marie,
fridge and freezer.

Prior to arrival groups are provided with a kitchen catering manual including equipment instructions
and what equipment is provided.
‍
A camp staff member will be onsite to give your catering team a kitchen briefing and show you
where everything is.
‍
Self-catered groups will need to provide food handling certificates for catering team prior to arrival.

Camp Toolangi is located only 90 minutes from the Melbourne CBD. Surrounded by the majestic Toolangi State Forest our camp is the perfect immersive learning environment for your students. Traditionally Taungurung land our local environment is home to some of the worlds tallest trees.
